Features to the whole new design includes a bright 5", 1920 x 1080 display with 2500 cd/m screen for incredible HDR work; a tally indicator; 4 built-in scopes; an enhanced focus assist; 3D LUTs and native Blackmagic RAW recording is also possible from supported cameras. The Video Assist monitor also provides 12G-SDI and HDMI inputs for recording the video output from professional and your traditional consumer cameras. Other features include a memory card slot that utilises a single high-speed UHS-II SD slot to SDHC/XC memory cards; a touchscreen interface that allows you to adjust settings and access monitoring features such as histogram, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope and many more scopes and exposure tools.
